Storytellers sehen wir einen
ruhigeren, nachdenklicheren
und älteren Billy
Idol, der das Geschehen
bestimmt. Begleitet von seiner
Band, bei der Gitarrist Steve
Stevens nicht fehlen darf,
arbeitet sich der ehemalige
Punk-Pionier während des
104-minütigen Konzertes durch
15 Songs (darunter acht Stücke,
die in der ursprünglichen TV-Ausstrahlung
nicht enthalten waren,
inklusive einer exzellenten
Version von "Eyes Without
A Face") und nutzt die
Gelegenheit zwischen den Stücken,
um über die Zeiten zu
reflektieren "an die man
sich nicht erinnern sollte".
Mehr als die Hälfte des
Konzerts ist dabei
halbakustisch gehalten,
weshalb "White
Wedding" und "Rebel
Yell" in akustischer
Version ungewöhnlich klingen,
aber dennoch funktionieren.

noch seine E-Gitarre für
